One Year Ago

It's hard to believe a whole year has flown by since I saw Ultravox in Manchester. On this day and at this time in 2010 I was thoroughly enjoying a terrific performance from a band on top form.

New material is still on the way and there are high hopes of another tour. Meanwhile, I can enjoy revisiting moments from the 'Return to Eden' tour thanks to a remarkable book.

'Remembering Eden - 30th Anniversary Tour Book' was devised and created by Jus Kharis Forrest and Helen Waterman and it features an incredible collection of photos, memories and interviews. There are lots of little snippets from a wide range of people and the whole work is beautifully produced.

It was released as a very limited edition and is consequently very difficult to track down. If you are ever in the fortunate position of being able to obtain a copy, make sure you don't miss the chance. My copy occupies a special place on the bookshelf; it's a book which I will return to many times.

There's a lot more information on the Remembering Eden Facebook page. Meanwhile, keep an eye on the official Ultravox website for all the latest news.
